Founded in 1990 by Stéphane Damiano, Prime Golf Academy has helped hundreds of young, passionate golfers reach their highest level. Its expertise, enriched by experiences gained in Europe and the USA with the world’s top coaches, allows it to supervise and train the academy’s professionals to provide exceptional instruction to our young golfers.

Named Best European Coach of the Year 2021.

Stéphane Damiano was honored with the prestigious John Jacobs Award, presented by the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG). This title, awarded among 43 national PGAs worldwide, recognizes his outstanding commitment and contribution to the development of golf.

Victor Dubuisson, the best French golfer in history.

Stéphane Damiano, director of Prime Golf Academy, was Victor Dubuisson's first coach. In 2014, Dubuisson was ranked 15th in the world, marking the best ranking for a French player in professional golf. Stéphane also coached Victor on the DP World Tour in 2011.

L'Année Sabbatique : un tremplin pour réaliser votre projet de vie centré autour du golf.

Le programme de l'Année Sabbatique est spécialement conçu pour les étudiants souhaitant prendre une année sabbatique afin de réaliser leurs objectifs en golf et en langues. Un programme de français ou d'anglais langue étrangère peut être personnalisé pour chaque étudiant. Si le niveau de français de l'étudiant le permet, il peut également suivre des cours supplémentaires dans notre école pour améliorer ses compétences linguistiques. Ce programme offre le parfait équilibre entre entraînement intensif au golf et apprentissage des langues, facilitant ainsi la réussite académique et sportive.

Nous vous proposons un programme qui allie discipline et liberté, avec 12 à 17 heures de cours de golf en groupe par semaine, en fonction du programme choisi. Vous serez accompagné dans tous les aspects de la performance, y compris la technique, la préparation mentale et le conditionnement physique, afin de maximiser vos progrès et atteindre vos objectifs golfiques.

The methodology of the program

A unique method in Europe that has proven its effectiveness for over 15 years.

Our training is conducted in groups of 6 students to ensure personalized follow-up combined with innovative training techniques to develop each aspect of performance: technique, strategy, physical, mental, and training methods.

The program is divided into 3 training cycles.
Based on the experience of Stéphane Damiano, trained by top global specialists and coaches such as Sean Foley, Mike Adams, Cameron McCormick, and David Orr.
The equipment

Game and performance analysis at the heart of our methodology.

Within our academy, a dedicated performance studio is equipped with the most advanced technologies, such as two Trackman radars, high-speed cameras, Smart2Move force plates, two 3D systems, and a SamPuttLab. Technology plays a key role in understanding the player's body mechanics, forces, club dynamics, and ball trajectory to help them reach the highest level.

Through our app, we provide players and their families with a comprehensive view of the player's progress during training sessions and tournaments. This detailed follow-up highlights the improvements made, areas for development, and goals to be achieved.

Accompanied tournaments

We are one of the few academies to offer personalized support during tournaments (as an option to our standard program).

‍How does it work?

‍The academy creates a tournament schedule tailored to each child, taking into account their level, goals, and pace of progress.

The coach ensures transportation to the tournament site, providing stress-free logistics. In addition to preparing the golfers technically and mentally, the coach accompanies them throughout the competition, offering continuous support.

An individual debriefing is held after each tournament to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.

We offer full-board accommodation with 24/7 supervision for children from the age of 12.

Prime Sport Academy offers full-board accommodation for children at the "Zenitude" Hotel-Residences, located just 10 minutes on foot from the Country Club Barbossi, where the school is located, and 5 minutes by shuttle from the golf course.

Accommodation in duplex cottages with a maximum of 3 students. Supervision is provided by a qualified dormitory supervisor with 20 years of experience in supporting young people.

Accommodation Features

Each duplex cottage is equipped with a kitchenette, separate toilets and showers, as well as heating and air conditioning to ensure comfort for all. The site features two swimming pools (supervised by our dormitory supervisor), as well as mini-football and basketball courts, ideal for relaxation in the evenings or on weekends.

Security

The site is fully secured, with surveillance cameras and the gate closing at 10:00 PM to ensure the safety of the residents. The dormitory supervisor is present and takes care of the children when they are not at school and during the weekends.
