Our Expertise

Experience at the highest level

Since its creation in 1990, Stéphane Damiano's Prime Golf Academy has enabled hundreds of young golfers to live their passion at the highest level. Stéphane's most remarkable coaching experience is with Victor Dubuisson, the highest ranked French golfer in history of the world rankings, achieving 15th place in 2014.

Internationally recognized expertise

In December 2021, Stéphane was awarded the prestigious John Jacobs Award, the prize for the European coach of the year. This distinction, awarded by the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG), is the result of his incredible work as a coach, as well as the success of the Prime Golf Academy and its important role in the development of the next generation of golfing talents, according to Ian Randell, CEO of the CPG.
The Confederation of Professional Golf brings together 43 National PGAs in Europe, Canada, South America, Africa, and the Middle East. Every year, it rewards coaches who excel in their profession, and this prize boasts a brilliant list of teaching pioneers who have already received it.

Our values

Our goal is to develop the player’s full potential to make them a champion!

To achieve this, we prioritize a long-term development method that emphasizes the enjoyment of learning over immediate results. However, our players still manage to win tournaments at a young age! This approach requires us to take all factors of performance seriously from the beginning.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, we tailor our methodology to fit each individual student.

By using biomechanical, technological, and empirical measures, we personalize the technique, game, and mental approach of each player, ensuring they perform at their best within their own system, particularly under pressure when competing to win a tournament! We help our players learn about themselves so they can adapt to any situation and consistently score low.

High-level sports provide an opportunity to learn project management skills and succeed in any endeavor.

It’s essential that our students learn to build a project using an effective work method. By teaching them to self-evaluate, set goals, plan training sessions, and adjust their approach based on results, we give them all the necessary tools to succeed.

This holistic approach can seem complex for younger or inexperienced students and may even become counterproductive. Therefore, we gradually apply it or tailor it depending on the player’s age, maturity, and skill level, striking the right balance between the joy of playing golf and the rigor of high-level performance!
